The building entrance is a large arch shaped wooden door that leads to a gallery/corridor with an arched ceiling. On the left is a skylight and an arch shaped doorway that leads to the corridor with a sand blasted red ceiling and terracotta floor and 3 rooms of the apartment. At the end of the corridor is the bathroom with shower. On the left is a bed room with a double bed and a sofa bed, a desk, an early 1900 cupboard and a wardrobe. The room is light and airy due to the south facing windows overlooking Via San Giuseppe and enhanced by the curved ceiling and terracotta floor. Opposite this room is a painted glass door leading to storage space. Further down the corridor on the right is the second bedroom with a double bed, a desk, an antique chest of drawers with mirror and a built in wardrobe. The room is north facing and the window overlooks the garden in the buildings central courtyard. The ceiling has exposed beams and the floor is in terracotta. Opposite the second bedroom is the living room. There is a cooking angle in providing four gas burners, a microwave oven, a fridge and a sink. In the living room there is a dining table an antique display cabinet and a sofa . The ceiling is arched and the floor in terracotta. The room is south facing with the window overlooking Via San Giuseppe The windows overlooking Via San Giuseppe are recessed into the very thick walls and reached by carved stone steps. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and gives the impression of having stepped back in time. |
